Like a lot of young women my age, I like spending my time on my two biggest passions: traveling and sports. Whenever I get the chance, I’ll go with friends and take a quick trip somewhere. I don’t even care if it’s a short trip that only lasts for a long weekend or something. For me, it’s all about the adventures that I get to have and the fascinating people I get to meet along the way.
I’ll Pack Classic Wardrobe Pieces to Travel Light and Get Far
Because I really enjoy staying active, I like to pack things for my travels that are cute and on-trend, but that can serve a lot of different purposes. As long as I have an awesome pair of heels, the only things I need are a couple flattering bikinis, a couple of classic shirts and maybe a short skirt, and a pair of running shoes. I think the best way to see any country is to really get out into the countryside.
Sometimes, I’ll take a long hike with friends, take a jog or go for a swim. No matter what’s going on, I like being active, even when I’m vacationing on holiday. So it’s important to me that I keep my make-up and hair routine really simple. To come up with different looks, I’ll try mixing and matching and using different accessories. I find that I can stick with a few classic wardrobe pieces, and then by adding scarves and funky earrings, take the outfit to a whole new level.
Styles That Go From Working Out to Dining Out
It’s great to have the chance to travel while I’m young so that I have wonderful memories to share later. A good trick to know is that if you’re able to travel last minute, it’s one of the best ways to get a really good deal on a trip that you would never be able to do at full price. In those last-minute situations, it’s crucially important to know how to pack light but still be able to produce a lot of different looks for all the situations you’ll be in. I choose to pack a lot of athleisure wear because it travels easily and I can wear it to work out or for hanging out with friends at a local pub.
But for right now? The best part of my life is that I can grab my bags and go. All I need is my smartphone to update my Insta stories from whatever exotic locale I’m visiting.
Experience
For much of my life so far, I’ve been a student. Besides school, I really see the world as my life university. Getting the chance to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds has been as educational for me as formal education. Maybe that’s why I like documenting everyone I meet in my travels and while I’m participating in 5K runs or just going for a jog. Having a chance to upload to social media is to me, like keeping a modern-day journal. Like a contemporary Kerouac, before you know it, I’ll be on the road again. Having adventures is what I’m all about.
